About Us

The SyncHouse is a boutique music supervision and licensing company servicing the Film, Television and Advertising industries. Our passion for music is at the core of our work and we draw on our extensive music knowledge and networks to source you the best music solutions for your project or campaign. 

 

We work creatively with producers pairing music and imagery, resulting in engaging and memorable content.

 

Our expertise flows into our management of the music licensing process. Music licensing is a complex field so producers entrust this work to us, taking advantage of our expert knowledge and advice. We ensure that you have the necessary clearances, rights and contracts covered from the multiple parties involved whilst also negotiating the best possible deals to work with your budget.

MEET THE TEAM

Kate

Kate is an experienced music supervisor and has been fortunate enough to have worked on some of Australia's best creative productions including The Dressmaker,  Animals, Hounds Of Love, Looking For Grace, Wolf Creek TV series and the Jack Irish TV series. Other recent credits include Love Island, Sunday Night Takeaway, Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation and documentary films Jill Bilcock: Dancing The Invisible and The Show Must Go On. 

 

Kate's previous experience includes work in the community radio sector as an EP of a flagship  new music show and Assistant Music Director. Kate holds a double Bachelor of Music & Arts majoring in Film and Musicology from the University of Melbourne.

Jane

Jane has nearly twenty years experience in the music industry and began her music career working on the tours of Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin to name a few.

​

She then went on to pursue her dream of working in A&R at Warner/Chappell Music UK where she stayed for eight years signing several multi-million selling artists as well as overseeing 50 songwriters and producers.

​

After her move to Australia nine years ago, she moved into Music Supervision and has worked on over 100 commercials and promos as well as numerous TV shows and films. She lectures in Entertainment Management at Australian College of the Arts (Collarts) and is also studying for her Masters at Monash University.
